2016 has been an amazing year for Georgian Bay Airways! Thank you so much for being a part of it and making this season so special. Like all good things, eventually they must end. On October 16th, team GBA will pull the airplanes out of the water for the last time this year. That leaves just one last week to see the leaves (see what I did there?!) in all their vivid glory.
The forests of the Canadian shield are at their absolute peak and we are lit up like a Christmas tree! If driving through cottage country during this annual colour display makes you emotional, proud to be Canadian, and feeling blessed to be here, imagine having a birds eye view at the end of your drive. We have created the Fall Colours Tour which goes deep into the Muskoka/Parry Sound wilderness hunting those vibrant oranges and golden yellows. Longer than any of our other tours, you have one last week to experience cottage country at its finest.
If Thanksgiving doesn’t have you coming up to the Parry Sound Area, maybe you plan to attend the Bala Cranberry Festival? We’ll have our Bush Hawk docked at the Bala Bay Inn on Saturday October 15th (weather dependent), and will be offering 20 minute Fall Colours tours between 10am and 4pm. Tours can be pre-booked, or by chance. We hope to see you there.
Nicole and I are having so much fun ending the season on such a high, brilliant note! We look forward to taking you flying!
